GENERAL PARK VACANCIES

TICKET OFFICE CASHIER
We need a cashier to work within our ticket office. The successful candidate will be open, friendly and welcoming to visitors arriving at the Park. Your duties will include greeting visitors and cash handling duties. Full Training will be given.  We are looking for someone to work full time Monday to Friday but who is flexible to work the occasional weekend if required. This is a seasonal position until we close for the winter on 20th October 2008. PARK WARDENS
Duties would include, litter picking, grass cutting, general cleaning, sweeping, emptying bins and ensuring a high standard of presentation is achieved throughout the park. We are looking for hardworking, observant individuals who are able to work on their own as well as part of a team. Duties may also include working in our Game Reserve at the entrance gates checking and supervising vehicles as they pass through the reserves. You may also be required to take visitors around Chimp Island and be responsible for helping passengers on and off the boat and supervising them at all times. Full training would be given. MASCOTS
As one of our Mascots, you would be dressed as a Lion, Elephant, Bear or Giraffe and be expected to be out and about around the Park entertaining the visitors or greeting them as they arrive. You must be friendly, outgoing with a lively personality and not be afraid to have fun with the visitors.

FACE PAINTER
You need to be outgoing, friendly and artistic.    No experience is necessary as full training will be given.

CLEANER
You will be required to work two days per week to cover days off but should be willing to work extra hours during our busy periods when
required.

AMUSEMENT ASSISTANTS
We are looking for confident individuals who will be required to be responsible for queue line monitoring, checking height restrictions, ride operation and ensuring that visitors are safely on and off rides and attractions. Attractions include, flying fox, astroglide, pedaloes and dodgems.

CATERING VACANCIES

COOKS are required to help run a busy restaurant preparing high quality wholesome food. Previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is essential as is an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate. Applicants must be team players, be able to lead by example, have excellent standards and work well under pressure.
Salary is negotiable according to experience.

Vacancies also exist within our catering outlets for the following seasonal positions.

SUPERVISORS, CATERING ASSISTANTS, KITCHEN PORTERS, BBQ ASSISTANTS AND CLEANERS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Seasonal Full Time and Part Time positions are available for all of the above and salary meets the national minimum wage. The above positions will generally involve working weekends and bank holiday weekends.
