Blair Drummond Safari Park receives many requests for work experience. We consider work experience extremely important and all our staff are more than happy to pass on their skills and knowledge to anyone wishing to pursue a career in this field.

Due to high demand we can only offer these work experience positions to students from animal related university or college courses and can only accommodate a maximum of two students at any one time.

Animal-Related Volunteering

Successful Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist our animal keeping staff with their daily duties. We are looking for friendly, hard working individuals who work well in a team.

Daily tasks involve
• Mucking out and cleaning of animal enclosures
• Feed preparation for a variety of animals
• Implementing enrichment for animals
• In some cases public interactions.
