What To Expect
Lemurs, giraffes, monkeys – even dinosaurs! Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park has it all. Take an intrepid drive-thru safari, brave one of the UK’s best dinosaur attractions or go wild in our giant outdoor play park. There’s a new adventure round every corner.
We’re open seven days a week and cannot wait to see you. But make sure you book in advance as we're online ticket sales only.
Safari drive-thru
A wild adventure, all from the safety of your car. You’ll see rhinos, antelope, camels and our magnificent lion pride. And don’t forget all those cheeky monkeys in the macaque section too.
There are a few safety rules to follow here. Make sure all your windows are shut. And (for obvious reasons) no motorbikes are permitted in the reserves.
Explore on foot
There are over 300 animals at Blair Drummond, and you can visit most of them on foot. Raised viewing platforms mean exciting eye-to-eye views of the giraffes, lions and tigers. Or why not say hello to our friendly animals in Pets’ Farm?
Watch out for Lemur Land too, where all our cheeky lemurs are free-roaming.
Dinosaurs at Blair Drummond
Behind huge charge-proof gates lies an ancient prehistoric forest for you to explore.
But watch out! It’s home to over twenty moving, stomping, screeching, life-size dinosaurs.
BEWARE: Always keep to the safe one-way path, and please don’t feed the dinosaurs!
Bird of prey flying display
Watch our incredible birds of prey as they soar, swoop and dive in their stunning surroundings.
This 20-minute presentation takes place three times a day and offers fantastic photography opportunities.
Displays take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm daily and each demonstration showcases a different range of birds.
Adventure playground & rides
With its giant play fort, pirate ship and sandpit for the wee ones, our adventure play park is a great space for the kids to let off steam.
We’ve got a mini funfair too. Or why not take a fabulous flamingo pedal boat for a spin on the lake?
Still full of energy? Time for a zoom down our giant astroglide slide.
Chimp Island
Visit our cheeky chimps on their own private island!
Take a stroll down the river path to meet our three free-spirited chimps Chippy, Gill and Peter.
Throughout the day, you might spot them foraging for food, playing on their rope swings, or just taking a nice nap.
Sea lions
The acrobats of the sea! Check out our sensational sea lions down at California Cove.
These incredibly athletic swimmers love to show off in their beautiful beach-side pool.
And don’t miss their live training demonstrations at 1pm and 3pm every day.
Animal talks
Come meet our friendly education team at the animal viewing areas. They’re armed with facts about all your favourite animals, and happy to answer any questions.
