Let's learn

Known for their strong colours and thick fleece, Zwartbles sheep are very sociable and friendly. Originally from a cold, wet, windy part of the Netherlands, these striking black and white characters are perfectly adapted for our Scottish weather! Zwartbles are now mainly used for breeding and producing meat and wool. Female Zwartbles sheep are very maternal and make excellent mothers, often having triplets.
