Special Waste Reducing Measures
Including rain water harvesting, low energy lighting, insulated buildings, A*rated refrigeration units, push button taps, air hand dryers, reclaiming tar chippings, hay and straw purchased from adjoining farm, muck spread on local fields.
We've seen our total send to landfill HALF since we've started recycling our waste. Average annual recycling totals from our bins:

Ecological Water Treatment
Waste water is filtered through our natural reed bed system.
Sustainable Woodland Management
Including planting over 1500 trees a year, short rotation coppicing for animal feed and using estate timber in buildings, for fencing and in conservation.

Used throughout the park and in retail outlets. Delphis eco
MCS certified fish for our Sea Lion feeds.
