Get your super senses at the ready!

Discover the wonderful world of animal senses and learn how they use them to feed, communicate and survive.

In this interactive session students will explore sight, smell, hearing and touch in both animals and humans. Animal biofacts such as skulls, skins, teeth and feathers are examined, giving children a fun, sensory experience. Get your best animal impressions at the ready – teachers too!

Learning Outcomes

  • To be able to identify body parts and their function
  • To recognise varying animal species
  • To identify various adaptations and animal features which have aided their survival

  *Please note - sessions involve no direct contact with animals
