Staying Alive!

Explore survival in the animal kingdom

Discover the gruesome, scary, yet captivating world of predator vs. prey! Travel the globe with us as we look at varying climate zones, food chains, and the classification of animal species

Have you held a giants tooth or a carnivores’ skull? Ever wondered what a giraffe eats for breakfast? What would the planet be like if there were no predators? Help us answer these questions in our “Staying Alive” session – interactive role play (students and teachers) encouraged!

Learning Outcomes

  • To be able to differentiate animal dietary groups
  •  To understand the roles physical features such as skeleton, dentition and physique play in diet
  •  To recognise and identify camouflage and it’s uses

*Please note - sessions involve no direct contact with animals
