Up-close animal encounters

Meet your favourite animals up close. Our animal experiences make the perfect gift for yourself, family or friends. Whether you want to meet our meerkats, fly a bird-of-prey or feed lunch to the giraffes, we guarantee itll be a day youll never forget.

All bookings include a full days entry to the park and vouchers are valid for 12 months.  All animal experiences must be booked online at least two weeks in advance.

Giraffe feeding

Get to know our giraffe herd and even do some hand-feeding. No ladder required! One of our most popular animal experiences, you’ll be eye-to-eye with one of Africa’s most iconic giants.

Meet the meerkats

Meet our cheeky meerkat mob. They’ll come running if they think food’s on the way! This fun-filled half-hour can be booked individually or as a family group.

Meet our playful Humboldt penguins and get up close for some fishy fun! Step into their habitat and hand-feed these charming birds. Perfect for penguin fans aged 10 and up!

Bird-of-prey experience

Meet the star of our flying display – Kevin. He’s a fully-grown hooded vulture and you’ll have the chance to fly him in one of our demonstrations. You’ll also get to chat to our keepers and enjoy a full guided tour of our Bird-of-Prey Centre.

Mini-keeper experience

A chance for families and younger children to get hands-on with some of our friendly animals down at Pets’ Farm. Guinea pigs, sheep and goats – it’s great fun for ages three-plus.
