An Easter treat at Blair Drummond Safari Park
It was an Easter weekend bonaza at Blair Drummond Safari Park, and keepers made sure that the animals didn't miss out.
Giant eggs filled with tasty morsels were placed in the barbary macaque enclosure and the meerkats were treated to paper mache eggs filled with treats.
Park Manager Gary Gilmour comments:
The eggs were prepared by keepers as part of enrichment activities. The monkeys climbed on top of the eggs, which were dangled from ropes in their enclosure. The meerkats enjoyed foraging for the contents of their eggs.
Visitors made the most of the sunny weather and, in addition to all the usual Safari Park activities, were treated to a weekend of Easter activities, including a bunny scavenger hunt, 3D cinema, magician and puppet show.
