Safari Park hosts its second annual Superhero Takeover event
From catching a glimpse of Access Parkour, the Edinburgh-based physical performance group, as they ran, jumped and climbed their way around the park to attending the special Superhero Headquarters where children learnt how to become a real life superhero, visitors experienced a fun-filled day out at Blair Drummond Safari Park last weekend.
Other superhero inspired activities included a daring laser tag game from Falkirk-based Wee Heroes, interaction with real life heroes from the emergency services and superhero challenges including lifting Thor's hammer, weaving through the laser maze and throwing like a ninja.
Speaking of the event, Marketing Manager Liz Gunn said: “The Superhero Takeover is fast becoming our favourite time of year at Blair Drummond Safari Park. We love seeing the children interacting with their favourite superheroes and learning about our animals in a totally different way.”
"We were very lucky this year to be joined by Fire Scotland and Police Scotland and our younger visitors especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet the Officers and learn more about their vehicles and applicances"
The Superhero Takeover events took place from May 24th – 27th. All activities were included in the cost of entry to the park and free for members.
