Plan your visit
Located on a perfectly flat 160-acre estate just outside Stirling, Blair Drummond is Central Scotland’s most exciting family visitor attraction and the perfect place for a family day out.
We are a seasonal attraction, which means that we will be closed over the winter from the 23rd December 2020. We're keeping a close eye on Covid regulations but, at the moment, we intend to reopen on 20th March 2021.
Our opening times can vary, but from the 20th March 2021 we expect to be open seven days a week from 9:30am until 5:30pm. We'll update our website as soon as our opening hours are confirmed.
Tickets should be available to book from our website from 1st March 202. We'll update this page with more information as soon as this is confirmed.
All visitors will be required to book to visit on a particular day and arrival time-period. This will include members and anyone with pre-paid tickets, for whom there will be no booking charge.
Our ticket prices for 2021 have still to be confirmed.
Annual membership offers you unlimited free entry to the Safari Park and 10% discounts in our gift shops and restaurant. Membership prices start at just £45 per person. Click here for more info.

We are a perfect location for group and school visits.
At the present time we are not taking any school or group bookings, but if you'd like to enquire about a reservation for 2021, please email us on enquiries@blairdrummond.com
We recommend at least 3-4 hours to visit, but many of our visitors choose to spend the whole day.
Some of our top attractions include:
Safari Drive-Thru
Drive your own vehicle through our animal reserves on the ultimate safari adventure.
You’ll come face-to-face with wild and exotic animals from across the world, including lions, camels, antelope, rhinos, Barbary macaques and a pride of lions. And don’t forget the cheeky monkeys in our famous macaque drive-thru!
Foot Safari
You can also explore a large section of the Safari Park on foot.
We have spectacular raised viewing platforms for our giraffes, lions and tigers and you can take a look inside the rhino house, elephant house and giraffe house. You can come face-to-face with our free-roaming lemurs in Lemur Land and pop in to see the friendly alpacas, sheep and horses in Pets Farm.
We are constantly monitoring the Covid situation and some areas of the Safari Park may be closed. You'll find the latest information here.
World of Dinosaurs
Behind huge Jurassic Park-style gates lies a pre-historic forest for you to explore. But watch out! It’s home to over twenty moving, stomping, screeching, life-size dinosaurs. ROARsome!
Now with a safe one-way system in place, welcome to “one of the UK’s best dinosaur experiences”!
(Please don’t feed the dinosaurs)
Animal presentations, talks and displays
Sea lion presentations
Due to the enclosed seating of the show we will not be running the sea lion shows. However, the sea lions can usually be viewed in their outdoor pool and our animal keepers will be available at points during the day to answer any questions that you may have.
We are constantly monitoring the Covid situation and we cannot guarantee that the indoor sea lion presentation will take place. You'll find the latest information here.
Animal talks
You can listen to our selection of interesting animal talks online. They can be viewed here.
Bird of prey display:
In our outdoor arena, you’ll watch our birds of prey as they soar, swoop and dive in their stunning surroundings. This 20-minute presentation offers fantastic photography opportunities.
Adventure play
Don’t miss our adventure play area, with its giant play fort, pirate ship and sand pit. All included in the price of your ticket!
Chimp Island
We are not running any boat trips to Chimp Island at the moment, but there is now a path that you can use to view the chimps on foot.
Amusements
Our amusement rides, including the astroglide slide, pedal boats and flying fox are closed. This is in accordance with government guidance and Health and Safety advice.
Other animals
There are over 350 different animals at the Safari Park, including lions, giraffes, rhinoceros, chimpanzees and monkeys. Click here for the full list.
We are committed to making our attraction as accessible as possible for all our visitors.

We've two shepherd huts available - one sleeps up to four guests, and the other sleeps two, but with space for an additional tent pitch outside if required.
Sleeps four:
Luxury meets the great outdoors in this charming shepherd's hut, which offers a comfortable double and twin beds, living space, a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom all amongst stunning scenery. For eating together, you’ll find a table both inside & out and the wood burning stove will keep you super snug. Bookings can be made online at airbnb.co.uk
