Currently we are not accepting school or group bookings. This will be kept under review and we look forward to welcoming groups back when it is safe to do so.

We are currently following government guidelines which means we have had to limit activities or close some areas of the park. However, there are still plenty of activities that are suitable for visitors of all ages. We recommend at least 3-4 hours to visit, but many of our visitors choose to spend the whole day.

Some of our top attractions include:

Safari Drive-Thru

Drive your own vehicle through our animal reserves on the ultimate safari adventure.

You’ll come face-to-face with wild and exotic animals from across the world, including lions, camels, antelope, rhinos, Barbary macaques and a pride of lions. And don’t forget the cheeky monkeys in our famous macaque drive-thru!

Last entry to the drive-thru is 4:00pm from 2nd until 25th November.

Last entry to the drive-thru is 3:30pm from 26th November until 23th December.

Please note:  It is not possible for us to allow vehicles with an open or soft roof to enter our drive-thru.

Foot Safari

One of the best ways to get up close to our animals is on foot.

We have spectacular raised viewing platforms for our giraffes and lions. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, the narrow viewing platform for our tigers and indoor visitor area in our elephant house are currently closed, but you can still take a look round the rhino house and view all the animals outside. Lemur Land is also currently closed but you can still pop in to see the friendly alpacas, sheep and horses in Pets Farm.

World of Dinosaurs

Behind huge Jurassic Park-style gates lies a pre-historic forest for you to explore. But watch out! It’s home to over twenty moving, stomping, screeching, life-size dinosaurs. ROARsome!

Now with a safe one-way system in place, welcome to “one of the UK’s best dinosaur experiences”!   Our dinosaurs will be lit with incredible illuminations every day from 26th November from 2:30pm until close.

(Please don’t feed the dinosaurs)

Talks, presentations and displays

Sea lion presentations

Due to the enclosed seating of the show we will not be running the sea lion shows. However, the sea lions can usually be viewed in their outdoor pool and our animal keepers will be available at points during the day to answer any questions that you may have.

Animal talks

Due to Covid-19, our animal talks are now only available to listen to via the website. They can be viewed here.

Bird of prey display:

In our outdoor arena, you’ll watch our birds of prey as they soar, swoop and dive in their stunning surroundings. This 20-minute presentation offers fantastic photography opportunities.

Adventure play

Don’t miss our adventure play area, with its giant play fort, pirate ship and sand pit. All included in the price of your ticket!

Chimp Island

We are not running any boat trips to Chimp Island at the moment, but there is now a path that you can use to view the chimps on foot.

Our amusement rides, including the astroglide slide, pedal boats and flying fox are closed. This is in accordance with government guidance and Health and Safety advice.
