Yes, we’re online bookings only and recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We are particularly busy during school holidays, so always advise that you book as early as possible to secure the slot you want.

Yes. Although we set aside a large amount of tickets for members each day, we still recommend booking in advance as we can’t always guarantee availability at peak times.

Although we don’t offer military discounts, some NHS regions purchase Corporate Tickets from us for their staff. Please contact your NHS representative for further details.

Yes, you can. Gift voucher codes can be entered into our online booking system. You will receive instructions on how to apply this code alongside your gift voucher.

If booking with a physical gift card, please book online using the ‘Complimentary’ ticket option and enter the number of people attending the Safari Park. The cost of admission will be taken from the gift card at the till booth. Please remember to bring the gift card with you on the day or you will be required to purchase admission tickets.

Any outstanding balance can be paid by cash or card. Any money remaining on the voucher/card can also be used within our gift shops, at our food outlets and for amusement tokens.

Just click ‘book now’ on our website as usual then enter your corporate code into the box on the right of the page before selecting your date and time. Once the code has been applied, you can then select your tickets. You can book your corporate tickets here. You will receive redemption instructions alongside your Corporate e-codes which explain this process further.

Just click ‘book now’ on our website as usual and when you get to ‘Ticket Selection’ choose the ‘Complimentary’ option. You’ll then be required to bring your physical adoption ticket with you on the day. Please note that if you do not bring your tickets with you, you’ll need to purchase day tickets at the usual price. Disabled visitors who require special assistance receive free admission for one accompanying carer. You’ll need to add a ‘carer’ ticket to your basket when booking, and you’ll be asked to produce relevant paperwork showing entitlement on arrival at the Park. This could be evidence of Adult/Child Disability Payments, a carer’s letter, a PIP letter showing that a carer is required, a ‘plus one’ travel card, or an Access Card.

In the absence of any of the above documents, then the full admission cost will need to be paid. Please note: ‘carer’ tickets can only be bought in conjunction with a paid ticket. You can find more information on accessibility here.

Yes, you can hire one of our yurts for £80 for two hours, plus the usual price of admission to the Safari Park for you and your guests. You can find more information here.

Yes, it is important for us to have a record of how many guests are in the park on any given day.  Please use the free ‘Under 3s’ option on the booking form to add your child to your booking.

To avoid delays or separation in the arrival queue, we recommend creating one booking per car.

Our season runs from March to December. Exact opening dates vary throughout the year, but will always be shown on our homepage. We open at 9.30am for Members and 10am for everyone else. Closing time is usually at 5.30pm. We sometimes offer late-closing during the summer months when the park will be open until 7pm. Keep an eye on our website for details.

Although pet dogs are not permitted into the park, you’re welcome to use our kennels for your pooch. These are located by the ticket office. You just need bedding, a water bowl and a refundable £1 coin for the lock. You’re welcome to leave the Safari Park to check on, and walk, your dog throughout the day.

We do have arrangements in place for disabled visitors who need to bring an assistance dog into the Park.  You’ll find more info here.

Yes, we’ve got lots of picnic benches and spaces where you can spread out, plus several undercover picnic areas.

Wheelchairs can be hired from our main gift shop for a returnable deposit of £20.

Once you’ve entered the park, you are welcome to stay as long as you like until closing.

We have lots of tasty takeaway options at our food kiosks throughout the park. Opening times for our kiosks will vary, but we cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the day – everything from hot rolls, coffee and doughnuts, to burgers and wood-fired pizzas. If you feel like being indoors, our restaurant has a range of locally produced food, plus vegetarian and vegan options. Take a look at our menus here.

If you’d like to bring your own food, you can do that too. We’ve got lots of picnic benches and spaces where you can spread out, plus several undercover picnic areas.

If you fancy a BBQ, you’re welcome to use one of ours, subject to availability. BBQs can be booked on the day of your visit for a charge of £5 for a single and £10 for a double. Our staff will have the BBQ lit and ready for your reserved time. These can’t be booked in advance, but we usually have plenty of availability. Simply ask at the ticket office upon entry to the park and the staff there will give you further instructions. Please note that we do not permit disposable BBQs to be used in the park.

We’re a smoke-free park. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas in the Safari Park car parks. The smoking areas are clearly signposted.

Please make yourself known to any member of staff. They will then radio for a first aider to come straight to your location.

Yes, we have 6 EV charging points in the park. Tariff charges are set at £0.30 per kWh with a £1 minimum fee. An overstay charge of £5 will be applied after 4 hours.

Yes. Although we set aside a large amount of tickets for members each day, we still recommend booking well in advance as we can’t always guarantee availability at peak times or during our seasonal events like Halloween, Christmas and Easter.

You’ll receive an email two weeks prior to your membership expiring, offering you the chance to renew online. If you’ve misplaced the email or didn’t receive a link, then you can still simply log in to your account within this 14 day window and the discount should already be showing.

Members who renew their membership within 14 days of receiving the renewal email, will receive a 10% early-bird discount.

You can buy memberships online here. Alternatively, if you visit the park as a guest, you will later be sent an email offering you the opportunity to upgrade your day ticket to membership. The cost of your day tickets will then be deducted from the cost of your membership.

Your membership will start from the date of purchase.

Yes, seasonal events are included with membership. Occasionally, there may be a small additional charge if, for example, you want to attend optional extras like the theatrical production we put on at Christmas.

Please show your Membership PDF to our staff members to receive your discount in the park. You can find instructions on how to download your Membership PDF here. You will also receive a discount code each time you visit, which you can use when you book via the QR codes at our restaurant tables.

Direct buses leave Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow and Stirling Bus Station several times a day. For the latest bus times visit www.traveline.info
If you’re travelling by train to Stirling, the bus station is close by.

Yes, we have several free car parks for customer use situated across the park.

Sometimes! We always do everything we can to stay open, but extreme weather can take this decision out of our hands.

We’ll always email all pre-booked ticket holders and update our website and social media channels if we have to close or make significant changes in the park.

Tickets for daytime visits and events are only refundable if the park has to close or an event is cancelled, but we understand you may need to rearrange your visit if extreme weather means travelling is unsafe. If an amber weather-warning or above affects your ability to travel to us, then you may be eligible for a refund.

Yes, we have over 70 spots reserved for blue-badge holders. Just go past the main carpark to the middle carpark, which is near the gift shop and the restaurant, and you’ll find blue-badge spaces there.

For safety reasons, motorbikes are not permitted into the drive-thru reserves. Soft top vehicles may enter the African and Asian reserves but are not permitted to enter the macaque or lion reserves. You can find more safety information here.

Yes, most of our animals can be seen from viewing platforms dotted around the park and most of our attractions can be accessed on foot. However, you will not be able to enter our drive-thru reserves.

Yes, you can! By purchasing one of our adoption packs you can help us to look after our animals here in the park, and promote the conservation of animals out in the wild. You can buy one here.

We have five different animal experiences to choose from; Giraffe Experience, Meerkat Experience, Bird of Prey Experience, Keeper for a day and Mini-keeper experience. Animal experiences and gift vouchers can be booked here.

We have a range of African and Asian animals in our drive-thru reserves, including lions, rhinos, many species of deer and macaque monkeys. You can see a full list of the animals you’ll spot in our handy guide here.

Our friendly education team give daily talks at the animal viewing areas and are happy to answer all your questions. You can find a full list of our talk times here.

Our bird of prey displays take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm daily. Each display is different and features different birds. Our sea lion training demonstrations take place at 1pm and 3pm.

A yurt is a sturdy, circular tent with a funnel shaped roof. If you scroll down, you’ll see a photo of ours!

No, both yurts are the same size, shape, and colour. They are both located near our meerkat enclosure.

Our birthday party package deal is £25 per child. There must be at least 10 children in the group, the maximum is 20.

Our birthday party package includes: full day admission to the Safari Park, a party lunch box and an amusement token per child, 2-hour party yurt hire, and one free supervising adult ticket per child.

The kids party box for under 5s includes a sandwich (choice of ham or cheese / brown or white bread), a carton of juice, a packet of Pom Bear crisps, a Frube yogurt and a packet of Haribo sweets.

The kids party box for 5-10 year olds includes a sandwich (choice of ham or cheese / brown or white bread), a packet of Walkers crisps, a cheese portion, an apple, a chocolate bar and a choice between a carton of fruit juice, a can of fizzy juice or a bottle of water.

It is not possible to have a BBQ at the yurts.

To book a birthday party package, there must be at least 10 children in your group. Our maximum number is 20. There is no minimum number of people if you are booking yurt hire only.
