We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest offering, the Mini-Keeper Experience! Here at Blair Drummond Safari Park, we’ve always been passionate about fostering a love for animals and nature in visitors of all ages. Now, with the Mini-Keeper Experience, we’re extending that passion to the youngest members of our community.
What exactly is the Mini-Keeper Experience, you ask? Well, it’s a unique opportunity for children as young as 3 years old to get up close and personal with some of our most adorable residents. Imagine the joy on your little one’s face as they interact with our guinea pigs, brush our Cameroon sheep, and feed our pygmy goats. It’s a magical experience that combines fun and education in equal measure.
One of the most exciting aspects of the Mini-Keeper Experience is that it represents the youngest age limit we’ve ever placed on an animal experience. We believe that it’s never too early to start instilling a sense of responsibility and compassion for the natural world. By introducing children to animal care at such a young age, we hope to inspire a lifelong love of animals and a commitment to their welfare.
Of course, safety is our top priority, which is why each Mini-Keeper session is carefully supervised by our experienced Education staff. We ensure that all interactions are gentle and age-appropriate, allowing children to learn and explore in a safe environment.
