Blair Drummond Safari Park is a fantastic place to work and, with a large team of permanent and seasonal staff, we are proud to be one of the biggest employers in the Stirling area.
University work placements
We usually offer short-term work placements to university and college students who are studying an animal-related course with an industry work placement requirement.
These are unpaid positions and successful applicants will be expected to assist our animal keeping staff with their daily duties, which include aspects of animal husbandry. Demand for placements is high and places are limited.
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid situation we are currently unable to offer any placements. We will restart our work experience programme when it is safe to do so, but we anticipate that this is unlikely to happen until 2022 at the earliest. We will update this page when are ready to accept applications.
Volunteers provide vital support to the life of the Safari Park and we welcome applications from passionate people dedicated to engaging visitors in amazing educational experiences and raising funds for our vital conservation work.
Volunteers are primarily involved in customer service, educational and fundraising roles. And just so you know, we don’t have any animal section volunteer roles.
We’d be delighted to hear from you if you’re interested in volunteering with us. Just drop us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
